Campground roads are paved and parking spurs are short but wide enough for parking two vehicles alongside a trailer. |

Extra Vehicles: One vehicle is included in your single campsite fee. Each additional vehicle will be charged a per day fee that is collected on site (cash or check only). Maximum two vehicles per site. The 14 day stay limit is strictly enforced. Camping for a period longer than 14 days during any 30-consecutive day period is prohibited. If you have booked back-to-back reservations, you will be asked to cancel all days after the first 14. The campground sits among lodgepole and other mixed pines along the river at an elevation of 2,600 feet. The area is located among peaks of the Cascades, 68 miles from popular Coeur d'Alene Lake. Wildlife watchers and photographers have the chance to see mule deer, moose, osprey and calliope hummingbirds. |

Rafting, swimming and kayaking are favorite activities on the river. Rafters will find class I-III rapids further down the river. Catch-and-release cutthroat trout fishing is also popular. Visitors also enjoy explore the river valley on foot to see nearby Downey Creek or Valitons Creek. |
